Dr. Farrell is an Associate Professor in the Master of Science in Education program and the program coordinator for gifted education at TROY. She is also the co-coordinator for assessments for state and national reports and accreditation. Dr. Farrell has worked in gifted education for over 30 years as a gifted specialist, coordinator, state department specialist and university professor.

TROY offers multiple ways to earn your gifted teacher certification according to your academic background. If you already hold a master鈥檚 degree in education, you can enroll in TROY鈥檚 post-master鈥檚 gifted certification online program.

With this option, you鈥檒l take six gifted education courses and any courses you may need to fill TROY鈥檚 master鈥檚 in education core requirements.
