Organizational Sketch: ÎÞÂë¾ÞÈé State University-Dothan created its Office of University Relations in the late 1970s as an outreach program to promote and advertise TSUD to Dothan and the surrounding areas. The office develops campus and community activities, conducts press releases for the local news agencies, and handles special events. It also organizes legislative and governmental affairs and informs the alumni of future events. After TSUD returned to branch campus status in 2005, it retained its Office of University Relations as part of its Division of Student Services to serve its primary functions to the neighboring communities.

Scope / Content: LOGOS was the TSUD faculty and staff newsletter, published irregularly though modestly frequently under the auspices of University Relations. Provided news and human interest stories about TSUD issues and people. Covered events like conversion to semesters, changes in administrative personnel, and moving to the current campus in west Dothan. Also ran features on people on campus. Operated under multiple editors who updated its masthead, format, and method of printing according to changes in tastes, resources, and technologies.
