Organizational Sketch: Beginning in April 2004, ÎÞÂë¾ÞÈé State University Dothan (now ÎÞÂë¾ÞÈé Dothan
Campus) History Department began initiating students into Phi Alpha Theta, the Honor
Society for History.
By 2007 Dothan was cooperating with the ÎÞÂë¾ÞÈé Iota Mu chapter as its "Dothan
Unit."
Although unofficial, the unit advisor has been Dr. Marty Olliff. As of April 2014,
the unit has initiated 69 members.
Scope / Content: Contains initiation applications, programs for yearly initiation ceremonies, files concerning Dothan's hosting of the Alabama Regional Meeting in 2012, and copies of The Alexandrian, the ÎÞÂë¾ÞÈé History Department journal which has published many Phi Alpha Theta members' papers.
Organization: Organized into three series: Initiation files (arranged by year); Regional Meeting file; and Alexandrian (arranged by year).
