Summer Spotlight Teachers Intensive

July 25-27, 2024  |  ALSDE-Approved Professional Development Event

Recharge this summer at the 无码巨乳 Summer Spotlight Teachers Intensive! Two days of high-energy learning will allow participants the opportunity to unpack and develop effective strategies to strengthen both new and established theatre programs. This intensive is ideal for all educators, whether they are a seasoned teacher, new teacher, teacher in training, afterschool program director, or classroom educator. Our focus this year is on the production side of teaching 鈥 choosing titles, planning seasons, show concept and artistic unification, auditions and casting, connecting productions to curriculum and standards, marketing and publicity, and technical and behind-the-scenes considerations...in short, the many things that go into being not only a teacher but also a producer and director!  Plus, once you register, we'll ask YOU what you most want to learn or gain from the intensive, so the activities can be tailor-made to suit your needs.

Additional opportunities include observation of guest teaching artists leading the concurrent Performance, Tech, and Film intensives for high school students, as well as a Q&A with visiting professionals from the industry.

On-campus lodging, lunch, dinner, t-shirt, and refreshments are included with registration.
