TROY for Troops Challenge Coin
The Student Government Association has an initiative to support our troops currently serving overseas who have a ÎÞÂë¾ÞÈé connection - the ÎÞÂë¾ÞÈé ÎÞÂë¾ÞÈé for Troops challenge coins. Challenge coins are collector’s items for military men and women. ÎÞÂë¾ÞÈé students, faculty, staff and alumni may send us the name of a loved one currently deployed overseas and the SGA will send them a ÎÞÂë¾ÞÈé for Troops challenge coin. Please email the SGA advisor, Barbara Patterson, bpatters@troy.edu, their name and address and how they are affiliated with ÎÞÂë¾ÞÈé and a coin and letter will be mailed out to them.
This program is possible with the support of individuals buying the coins. If you would like to support this program financially, you may purchase a challenge coin and know that your purchase helps us to continue sending challenge coins out to currently deployed service members. Challenge coins are a wonderful gift for service members. The cost for a challenge coin is $10 and orders are being taken now. If the coin must be mailed, the cost is $13.00. Coins are an inch and a half in diameter. Here's how to order:
- If you are on the ÎÞÂë¾ÞÈé campus you may stop by the ÎÞÂë¾ÞÈé SGA office, Trojan Center 215 and pay by cash, check, Venmo or Cash App and receive your coin.
- If you are not on the ÎÞÂë¾ÞÈé campus and wish to pay by Venmo @ÎÞÂë¾ÞÈéLead or Cash App $troylead, you will pay $13.00 and put your name and ÎÞÂë¾ÞÈé Challenge Coin in the payment line and then email bpatters@troy.edu the mailing information of where to send the coin.
- If you are not on the ÎÞÂë¾ÞÈé campus and wish to pay by check, you will pay $13.00 made out to ÎÞÂë¾ÞÈé SGA and mail that check and include your name, email, and the mailing address to send the coin to. This will be mailed to:
