Closing Reception: August 22, 5-7 p.m.
Artist Talk: August 21, 12:30-1:30 p.m.

Sara Dismukes work speaks to personal voyages. Everyone is familiar with the experience of moving back and forth between public and private spaces. Rather than call attention to the origin or the destination, Dismukes pays attention to what is found along the way. She is compelled by the social mediation of landscape, and how desire and disregard are manifested in spacial elements over time. Sara Dismukes is a multidisciplinary artist, designer, and educator based in Montgomery. She has been part of TROY鈥檚 Department of Art and Design since 2006.
